Announcements
First grade play is on Thursday, May 7 @ 9:00 a.m..
Dinner Theater is on Friday, May 8.  Tickets are $15 and can be purchased in the office.
Elementary Field day is Tuesday, May 12, from 1:00 - 3:00.
Elementary Honors Assembly is Wednesday, May 13 @ 9:00 a.m..
AR Party is Monday, May 18, from 9:00 - 12:00 at the Recreation Center.  Only those who have met their AR goals each 9 weeks will attend.
2nd grade Class Party is Tuesday, May 19, from 12:00 - 2:00 at Xtreme Athletics.  We need parents to drive.

Tests
Tuesday, May 5 - Chapter 11 Science Vocabulary Test (Study sheet went home last Monday.)
Wednesday, May 6 - Math Test
Thursday, May 7 - Practice Spelling Test
Thursday, May 7 - Chapter 11 Science Test (Study sheet went home last Tuesday.)
Thursday, May 7 -Multiplication Test for 2's, 3's, 4's, and 5's multiplication facts.  Study sheets have been sent home for each of these.

There will not be a Reading Selection Test this week.

In Reading, Language, and Spelling, please refer to the sheet attached to the Homework Calendar for concepts to be covered this week.
There are no new concepts in Math.  Each lesson will be review.
We will finish up Chapter 11 in Science.
We will continuie to read and talk about JFK in Social Studies.
