Homecoming Float

Good morning!
We were told this morning that we could begin decorating our float for the Homecoming Parade at 1:00 p.m. today.  If we get finished, we will not have to stay after school.  I have sent an e-mail to the parents who returned the form saying that their child could stay after school to decorate.

If your child is going to ride the float in the parade, he/she needs to be here no later than 5:45 p.m. this afternoon.  The floats will be lined up on the street behind the hospital.  Your child needs to wear his/her Halloween costume.  Remember, our theme is Trick or Treat.

Thanks!

Homecoming and Hardee's

The homecoming pep rally has an admission fee of $1.  If a child is under school age, he/she will be admitted free of charge.  The homecoming theme is Halloween, so some of what you see during the performance may be scary looking to some young children. (Ex. Spooky music, loud noises, creepy masks)  Young children may want to be accompanied by an adult.

Pike Liberal Arts School will host a Spirit Day on Friday morning at Hardee's.  PLAS will receive 20% of all pre-taxed purchases made at Hardee's between 4 a.m. and 11 p.m.! WOW!   I have sent home this information and the slip you will need at Hardee's, today.  If you need more slips, please let us know.

Also, I have sent home a note about the Homecoming float.  Please check that note and return it to me tomorrow.  Thanks.
